Comic-Con 2008!

Once again I'm at the San Diego Comic-Con for the 22nd year in a row (Comic-Con International for you young whipper-snappers).  The show has changed a great deal from the first S.D. Comic-Con I attended back in 1987!  Good god I'm getting old   The first show started in a little hotel back in 1970.  Since then there have been some rather big changes with the show. The biggest changes came from when Hollywood jerks (celebrities) came into the show back about five years ago to advertise thier crappy films.  Thier shameless promtions have attracted a HUGE amount of people to the show.  It is estimated over 125,000 attendees this year!  Any how, for good or bad the Comic-Con is one of the biggest pop-cultural events in North America.  I've posted some photos of this year's show on Zindy's forum.  You can check out the thread here:  zindy-zone.dk/forum/showthread…
